The Rats are Hooked on Hijinks in Episode 3

Episode 3: The PiRATS

Blister and Muck hijack a sailboat and take up piracy. Meanwhile, a circus arrives in Blaakrust. Madam Putreska hatches a plan to rescue its captive animals.

Now you can sport your very own Blister and Muck tshirt, hat, or face mask! A portion of the proceeds helps cover the costs of sound fx, music, and the webhosting needed to distribute Blister and Muck to Google and Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, Deezer, Radio Public, YouTube, and other audio apps.

For the curious, learn more about the pirates that Blister and Muck admire:

Pirates Magnified by David Long and Harry Bloom

Pirates: Dead Men’s Tales by Joe Wilson

And if you haven’t read or heard Robert Louis Stevenson’s pirate adventure classic, Treasure Island, I absolutely urge you to do so!

Special thanks to composer Roland Rudzitis for serving up the Blister and Muck theme song. Additional music from Kevin MacLeod and Monplaisir. Dave Incamas at freesound.org brought the marching band while DrumM8 at the soundbible.com provided the drum. Some animal sounds from Tony Phillips and Christopher. Daniel Simion created the drippy cave. Mike Koenig beached the ship. From Pond5, SoundIdeas played the calliope, Art4Noise made the pond water, and Stormwave Audio shivered the timbers. Sincerest thanks also belongs to my family, friends, and fans. One for one and all for you!
